About the Chamber |
Mission StatementOur mission is to promote, encourage, facilitate and support the economic and social development of the Greater Madisonville Area for the purpose of improving our community’s lifestyle and yet preserving our small town way of life, history and the beauty of our natural resources. As the primary advocate of the greater Madisonville area, we're also one of the most influential organizations, working to improve Madisonville’s economic vitality and quality of life. Our members come from all types of businesses and in all sizes, and from all over the greater Madisonville area. Since 2001, the Greater Madisonville Area Chamber of Commerce has been Madisonville’s most powerful and enthusiastic advocate, playing a part in nearly every major development affecting the area. Since that time the Chamber has served as an advocate for business, a community partner, a resource for business, and is dedicated to serving both the needs of our members and the economic development needs of the broader community. The Chamber works year round in diverse ways to strengthen the region's prosperity and livability. A strong economy requires a healthy business climate, a productive workforce, adequate infrastructure, public and private sector collaboration and numerous other elements. The Chamber serves as a catalyst, advocate, convener and partner in helping the greater Madisonville area build its preferred future. Madisonville
has always attracted unconventional entrepreneurs. From the first
settlers willing to navigate the nation’s rivers, to explorers searching
for adventure, Madisonville citizens have a tradition of risk taking.
The Chamber has always celebrated and supported that spirit. Chamber
members know that the diversity of talents and the variety of interests
in the area are the keys to Madisonville’s continued economic growth and
vitality. The Chamber's willingness to get involved in a broad range of
issues and to participate in activities that directly affect the
quality of life in Madisonville ensures residents and business owners
that Madisonville will remain a great place to live and do business. | Board of DirectorsPresident Executive Director, Coquille Parks and Recreation Secretary
